Updated 6/1 – COVID-19 Social Distancing Tournament Protocol

Outcasts Bass Club will be implementing the following Social Distancing Tournament Protocol beginning with our June tournament.  These protocols will be in place until further notice:

 

Registration

  1. The registration table will be positioned along the driveway as you are pulling into the ramp area.
  2. DO NOT WALK UP TO THE REGISTRATION TABLE and  DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED REGISTRATION.
  3. When you reach the registration table roll your window down a couple of inches to pay your entry fee.
  4. You will be given your boat number and your permits.
  5. Once you are registered you may proceed to ramp and prep your boat for launch.

Launch/Blast-Off

  1. Launch your boat and immediately move out away from the ramp area and wait for the tow vehicle driver to return for pick up.
  2. DO  NOT BEACH OR DOCK YOUR BOAT.
  3. Once you have retrieved your partner go back out to the blast-off area and wait for us to call numbers.
  4. Maintain at least 50 feet of separation from all other boats. (per Florida social distancing regulations)

Take-Out and Weigh-In  (UPDATED 6/1/2020)

  1. President and the Weighmaster will put their boats on the trailer and will set up for the weigh-in.
  2. DO NOT BEACH OR DOCK YOUR BOAT.
  3. Once we are set up you may drop your partner at the dock, one boat at a time, and begin loading up.
  4. The weigh-in table will be set up on the drive out of the ramp area. Probably up by the restroom facilities.
  5. Once you trailer your boat you will drive up to the scales.   Do not gather by the scales.
  6. Stay in line and in your vehicle.  Please do not gather around the scales.
  7. Do not bag your fish.  We will transfer your fish from your Livewell to the scale baskets directly or we will issue you a bag.
  8. Your weight will be provided and you drive back around to return your fish.
  9. We will announce winners after the weigh-in via loudspeaker so you do not have to gather by the scales.
